NAIDOC Family Fun Day

July 6, 2021 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Steel Park
531-565 Illawarra Rd
You are invited to AbSec’s annual NAIDOC Family Fun Day!

Join us this year in celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal peoples.

AbSec’s NAIDOC Family Fun Day is an event for not only Aboriginal communities but also Australians from all walks of life to come together, connect and learn about Aboriginal culture.

As the peak organisation for Aboriginal children and families, AbSec will be hosting a day for the whole family to come down to Steel Park, Marrickville during the school holidays and enjoy free food, entertainment and activities.

Come along and invite your friends to celebrate with cultural performances and traditions, arts and crafts, face painting, jumping castles, sausage sizzle, an Elders tent and much more.

We will also be celebrating this year’s NAIDOC theme: Heal Country! A call for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration and destruction.

This event is FREE, but requires registration through here
