Barayagal is a community choir, hosted weekly on Wednesdays 6-8pm at Redfern Community Centre.
Last Minute Productions in conjunction with YARN Australia, Sydney Conservatorium of Music & Sydney Uni Community present Barayagal 1st Nations Choir.
Barayagal is a collective of 1st Nations people and people of Sydney University & the community of Redfern, that gather to sing songs of culture and stories.
First Nations people of Sydney are invited to join Barayagal. We welcome people who want to sing for the first time, and all nationalities who have been singing all their lives.

Badu Gili – meaning ‘water light’ in the language of the traditional owners of Bennelong Point, the Gadigal – is a free daily experience that explores First Nations stories in a spectacular six-minute projection on the Opera House’s eastern Bennelong sails.
Watch the sails illuminate with Badu Gili: Celestial, a new projection celebrating the work and stories of two female First Nations artists from Australia and New Zealand, created in collaboration between the Opera House, Biennale of Sydney and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain.
