Join the Women’s Reconciliation Network (WRN) for a special guest presentation by Emelda Davis on Blackbirding, a Hidden History of Australia.
Emelda is a community activist, former City of Sydney Councillor and the first South Sea Islander woman elected to council. As President and co-founder of Australian South Sea Islanders – Port Jackson, she advises governments on Indigenous knowledges.
The session will explore an important and often overlooked part of Australia’s history.
