Burramatta NAIDOC Day

July 11, 2021 all-day
Parramatta Park
Pavilion Flats
Byrnes Ave

An all-day festival for the whole family. With live music and entertainment, workshops for all ages, craft activities, First Nations markets, Speak Out Tent (Yuin Byalla), community BBQ and corroboree ground.

City of Parramatta is bringing local Burramatta NAIDOC celebrations back in 2021 to celebrate the culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for NAIDOC Week 2021.

This year’s theme of Heal Country! calls for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction.
Country that is more than a place and inherent to our identity.

Country that we speak about like a person, sustaining our lives in every aspect – spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and culturally.
