Wuliwulawala (women) celebrates the resilience and creativity of First Nations women connected to Dharawal land of southern Sydney.

Featuring historical content, interviews and contemporary art this exhibition focusses on the importance of sharing stories, knowledge and oral histories across generations, while recognising the perspectives of women connected to our local and national history.

First Nations women have always been keepers of culture and play a central. role in family and community and passing on culture to younger generations. The artists and contributors in Wuliwulawala are Dharawal women or women from other Nations who live on Dharawal land in south Sydney
